Data Protection

The protection of your personal data is very important to us. Therefore, we process your data exclusively on the basis of legal provisions (GDPR, Telecommunications Act 2003). In this privacy statement, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing by our website.

Contacting Us
If you contact us via the form on our website or by e-mail, the data you provide will be stored for six months for the purpose of processing the request and for potential follow-up questions. We will not share this information with others without your consent.

Data Storage
We would like to point out that the IP data of the subscriber is stored by the web shop operator in the form of cookies to facilitate the purchase process and subsequent contract processing. The same applies to the name, address, and e-mail address of the buyer.

The data provided by you is required to fulfil the contract and/or to implement pre-contractual measures. We cannot conclude a contract with you without this data. The data is not transferred to third parties, with the exception of the transmission of order data to the processing payment service provider for the purpose of debiting the purchase price, to the transport/shipping company commissioned by us to deliver the goods, and to our tax advisor for the fulfilment of our tax obligations.

After the termination of a purchase process, the data stored by us is deleted. If a contract is concluded, all data from that contractual relationship is stored until the tax retention period expires (7 years).

The data including your name, address, purchased goods, and date of purchase is furthermore stored until the product liability expires (10 years). Data processing takes place on the basis of the legal provisions defined in § 96 (3) Telecommunications Act and Art. 6 para. 1 lit a (consent) and/or lit b (necessary for fulfilment of contract) of the GDPR.

Cookies
Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device by means of your browser. They do not cause any damage.

We utilise cookies to make our offering user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. They allow us to recognise your browser upon your next visit.

If you do not agree with this procedure, you can set up your browser to inform you about the placement of cookies. This means you can agree to cookies in individual cases.

Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of our website.

Web Analysis / Google Analytics
Our website uses Google Analytics, including the features of Universal Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc (“Google”). Google Analytics uses co-called “cookies”, which are text files stored on your computer and allow the service to analyse the use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the respective website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the US and stored there.

IP Anonymisation / IP Masking
Due to the fact that the legal situation regarding the use of analysis tools with complete IP addresses is yet to be resolved definitively, our website uses Google Analytics with the extension “_anonymizeIp ()”. This means that your IP address is shortened by Google in European Union member states or other countries included in the European Economic Area agreement before further use. Your IP address is thus only processed in an anonymised form. The full IP address is only sent to a Google server in the US and shortened there in exceptional cases.

Google uses this information on our behalf to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide us with other services related to website activity and Internet usage.

The (shortened) IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data. You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software correspondingly. However, we would like to point out that such a setting may mean that you cannot use all features of this website in their entirety. In addition, you can prevent Google from collecting and processing the data generated by the cookie and related to your website use (including your IP address) by using this link (http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de) to download and install the available browser plug-in.

For more information about the Terms of Service and Privacy of Google Analytics, please visit https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/.

Newsletter
You have the option to subscribe to our newsletter via our website. To this end, we require your e-mail address and your declaration that you agree to the subscription of said newsletter.

As soon as you have registered for the newsletter, we send you a confirmation e-mail with a link that allows you to confirm said registration.

You can cancel the subscription to the newsletter at any time. Please send your cancellation to the following e-mail address: rotweingut(at)prickler.at. Subsequently, we delete all your data pertaining to newsletter dispatch immediately.

Integration of Third Party Services and Content
It can happen that content provided by third parties, such as videos from YouTube or maps from Google Maps, are integrated into this online offering. This always requires that the providers of this content (hereinafter referred to as “third party provider”) can see the IP address of the website users. Without the IP address, the third party providers cannot transmit the content to the browser of the respective user. The IP address is therefore required for displaying the content. We endeavour to merely use content whose respective providers use the IP address solely for the delivery of content. However, we do not have influence on whether third party providers store the IP address for e.g. statistical purposes. If we are aware of such practices, we inform users to this effect.

Your Rights
In principle, you have the rights to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation, and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection legislation or that your data protection rights have been violated in any other way, you can register a complaint at the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Austrian Data Protection Authority (“Datenschutzbehörde”).
